Vargas worked as the booking agent at the Conga Room during its heyday before moving to DTLA and pursuing his art career full-time. He painted at the first Downtown Art Walk in 2004 and continues to paint every month on the corner of 6th and Spring under his mural. Examples of his work include a portrait of a mariachi on Eastside Luv (2011), "Our Lady of DTLA" (2013) on the SB Spring building on the corner of 6th and Spring, and a Great Gatsby mural in the trendy South Park restaurant Faith and Flower. He has performed with Far East Movement and participated in the Star Wars Legion Art Show.
